I just heard from the French media about the story of Marcus Luttrell. The wikipedia article gives the context but does not include what moved me the most in the story: critically wounded, he was rescued and taken care of by Afghani tribes people to whom the needs of a stranger were sacred, and who refused to surrender the American soldier to the Taliban.
Luttrell was moved and changed by their hospitality, and remorseful of his past disrespect of Afghan culture.
Luttrell wrote a book, soon to be a movie. Certainly, there is some good stuff to use in some of our material.
